The BFG is a chapter book written by Roald Dahl, who is also the author of Charlie and the Chocolate Factory and many other books. This is the story of an orphan named Sophie who has been kidnapped by a giant. Luckily the giant is a BFG. The BFG is not like other giants who delight in eating human beings. He is not a Childchewer, Bloodbottler, Fleshlumpeater, or Bonecruncher. He is a Big Friendly Giant who needs Sophie’s help. Together they have to save the world from the terrible group of human eating giants.
