    Summary: Fox is a very unique story about Dog and Magpie’s friendship. Dog and Magpie became friends the day that their forest was burned. Dog found Magpie struggling in the flames and carefully carried her back to his cave. Both Dog and Magpie have suffered injuries from the fire and have been left handicapped. Dog is unable to see out of one of his eyes and Magpie’s wing is broken. Together Dog and Magpie are able to run through the forest. As they run, Magpie tells Dog that he makes her feel like she is flying. She promises to be his eyes and he promises be her wings. They become best friends and take care of one another. Then a jealous fox wanders into Dog’s cave looking for shelter and everything changes for Magpie and Dog.
